Put them all together in a scene, no wires and stuff yet, will add them at a later date, going to start a new project now, just have to think of one first.
Here's some more of my older work, it's a couple of pieces adapted from my mate Louis' grafitti. I scanned the original images, cleaned them up, then created coloured 2D and 3D versions.
Decided to up a few bits and bobs I've got lying around, they are just quickly created scenes with a lot longer spent on the render quality than modelling.
Last week I went to see 'Alter Ego' (Top-Tip: Roman Flügel is 1/2 of that duo) in Stuttgart, it was awesome. After the set we went to a party we'd heard about from a friend, and it was probably the best party location I've ever been to. I took some photos of it, so hopefully you can get an idea of just how cool this place was.
Here's an aeroplane I had to create for work on the Tour De France, it's featured in the virtual-flyovers of the stages on TV. I also made a hot air balloon and a flock of birds, but I don't have any decent renders of those.
This is a church I made in 3dsMax last year as part of my university coursework, it's modelled on a church just down the road from my old house. I built the church as it originally stood, and also as it exists now, with extensions added. Once I figure out how to put videos on here, I'll post the flypast I did.
Gonna stick a picture up here, just to see how it works. It's a piece I made during my spare time over the course of a week or so, my first sortee into the realms of texturing anything more complex than a table.
So, this is the first post of this new blog. I'm going to use it for pictures, music and stuff created by or enjoyed by me, so you can get a little taste of what it's like to be Phil.
My name is Philip Stewart, I was born in 1985 and I'm still not dead. I have studied Computer Graphics in the UK and Germany, and I'm going to use it to become rich. I recently completed my Masters in 'Animation for Computer Games' after receiving a 1st Class BA-Hons for my Undergrad (my mum's so proud).
I have had several pieces of work used on national TV (6, but who's counting...) and I recently competed in, and won an award at 'Dare to be Digital' as team-leader and lead-artist for my team 'Bears with Jetpacks'. I hope to continue working in this field (or in an office if possible).
